Primary responsibilities include the following:Teaching a 4-4 course load (summer teaching opportunities) of face to face, hybrid, and online undergraduate and occasional graduate courses.Courses include British literature surveys, Shakespeare, other literature courses, and advanced composition.Advising students and mentoring English majors' activities and organizations.Demonstrating progress in research.Participating in curriculum development and assessment.Engaging in service to the department, college, and university.Position is security sensitive.Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
