SummaryFunction: To serve as the academic and administrative head of the RGC College of Business and to report to the university president through the provost and executive vice-president for academic affairs.Scope: Academic areas within the RGC College of BusinessDutiesEssential: Oversee the operation of the Department of Business Administration within the RGC College of Business; expand and revise programs and curricula in collaboration with the department chair, faculty, and provost; administer and implement university policies and regulations; participate in the recruitment of faculty and staff for the business department: recommend appointment, salary increments, promotion, tenure and termination of faculty; participate in the coordination and supervision of graduate programs.Working ConditionsEight-hour workday, forty hours per week, with some early or late hours depending on workload; teach one course each long semester; and attendance at various university, community, and school activities.FILLING THE POSITION WILL BE CONTINGENT UPON STATE APPROPRIATE FUNDS AVAILABILITY.
