Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Machinist for our Services_AME team in Bridgeport, NJ. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality parts and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure accurate production.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in operating lathes, mills, grinders, and other machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
