Technical Data Coordinator

Position Summary:

Position will work within the Order Related Engineering team in a support role in design for the preparation of sales order submittals packages by editing and creating text, compiling drawings and data sheets that will be sent to customers for approval. The position will also support the mechanical designers by entering sales order specific parts and assemblies into the ERP system. The position will also compile drawings and other information for the Installation, Operation & Maintenance (IOM) manuals for production sales orders that will either be shipped with equipment or mailed to the customer.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

· Compiles and prepares all documentation necessary for sales order submittals, including cover letters, submittal text and drawings.

· Prepares letters of transmittal for the submittal packages.

· Prepares submittal shipping documentation and ensures shipments are made to schedule.

· Prints and compiles hard copy O&Ms for shipment with equipment or directly to customers.

· Prepares sales order O&Ms by editing templates and compiling additional documentation such as sales order and associated drawings.

· Creates, supports and maintains standard text templates for submittals documentation.

· Creates sales order specific parts and Bill of Materials (BOM) within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) business management system supporting ORE.

· Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED.

Desirable: Associates Degree (2 year).

Experience:

Required: 3 years in an office environment

Desirable: 2 years working within an ERP system,

Preparation of technical documentation.

Ability to interpret technical drawings

Wastewater treatment process.

Skills:

Required: Read and write proficiently in English

Microsoft Word

Edit and work with PDF files

Proofreading

Attention to detail

Time management

Desirable: Visual ERP

Technical submittal preparation

Installation, Operation, &Maintenance manual preparation
