Job Description:
Seeking a dynamic Senior-level security professional to support the Governments F-16 security lead and FMS Program Managers. Must be able to work independently as well as cooperatively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including foreign allies. Shall assist the Government with the implementation of Information, Personnel and Industrial Security programs. Must have strong analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills in order to successfully communicate program security requirements, methods and decisions. Must be willing to surge to support Government requirements as necessary. CONUS and OCONUS travel is required. ITAR and Foreign Disclosure experience is highly desired, but not a requirement.
A sample of some of the security management advisory services include conducting security investigations and updating DD254s; assisting FMS countries with program protection planning activities; managing the security self-inspection program; conducting on-site CONUS and OCONUS security site surveys and preparing evaluation reports; drafting, reviewing and/or evaluating written artifacts like transportation plans, studies, facility plans and drawings, contractor surveys and security reports and procedures; drafting, reviewing and/or evaluating program protection plans to safeguard critical program information and critical components. Responsibilities will also include assisting to manage and administer the administrative duties of a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) in accordance with DoD 5207.05, Vols 1-4 Security Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP), and the RMF/DoD Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) or current guidance. Tasks include, but are not limited to, submitting Program Access Requests (PAR), gaining and maintaining accreditation as required and managing the self-inspection program.
Required Skills/Education:
Employment as a Senior Security Manager requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Information, Personnel, Industrial, and/or Physical Security along with a Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, applicants could have fourteen (14) years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree; or sixteen (16) years of relevant experience with a high school degree is also acceptable.
Desired Certifications:
Recommend either Level 1 certified in the Defense Security Service (DSS), Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Program or currency with other DSS training pertaining to information, personnel, industrial and physical security programs through DSS.
