Job Summary
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse by handling materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate equipment for order picking and building tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and products
- Operate cherry pickers and other heavy equipment as needed
- Manage distribution center inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines for safety and compliance
Experience
- Prior experience in order picking and handling materials is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to material handling
- Experience in a distribution center environment is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
