I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Instrumentation Applications Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Instrumentation Applications Engineer , your main responsibilities are :
Overseeing the installation of data-loggers and measurement sensors to primarily prototype vehicles, to allow the accurate capture of test data, which allows internal engineering customers to validate vehicle, system and component performance.
Skills required
Detailed understanding of data logging, sensors, and interfaces.
Knowledge of system architectures and how to interact with them, including CAN, CANFD, FlexRay, and XCP / CCP.
Knowledge of vehicle / prototype engineering.
Experience Required :
Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
Experience of data acquisition software.
Strong IT skills.
Experience Preferred :
Good interpersonal skills and administrative skills.
Experience of cloud-based data management.
Experience of test data display and presentation.
Project management skills.
Additional Information :
On site 5 days a week.
