The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. As a Commercial Lending Technology Manager, you will implement and support software solutions to optimize business operations. You will collaborate with the business to ensure that the software solutions you manage align with the company’s operational goals, drive desirable business outcomes, and improve operational efficiency. You are tactically responsible for implementing the vision and strategy provided by senior leadership.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Serve as the IT Owner of the lending solutions ecosystem, integrations, APIs and its overall ecosystem including engineering, enhancements, releases and ongoing maintenance / supportOwn all lending enhancements, upgrades and custom developmentContribute strategically and tactically to evolving market-driven, customer-centric products, and product efforts to ensure stakeholders and management remain aware of the value propositionLead technology research, product selection, and proof of concept processes where neededDevelop, identify, and document operational processes and procedures; assist with run book implementations where there are gaps.Oversee technical solutions to confirm business requirements are met, adhere to methodology, SDLC process, and are compliant with the strategic architectureWork with third-party application vendors on their roadmaps and any vulnerabilitiesDevelop standards of excellence within the department and measure performance of staff against such measuresAttend meetings with stakeholders to communicate the purpose and capabilities of the department to ensure effective interface with existing operationsInterface with multiple stakeholders; conflicting priorities, communications in an ambiguous environmentOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityPOSITION SPECIFICATIONS : EducationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or significant years of technology field experienceExperience8 years relevant application development work experience3 years supervisory experience3 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Developer3 years working in banking and financial services industrySkills / Qualifications : Leadership and technical skills required to drive the delivery of service excellence with internal and external delivery teamsProven decision-making and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical and / or complex concepts into information meaningful to project team members and / or business personnelProven leadership abilities that promote growth and development of employeesAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects and objectives in a rapidly changing environmentGood project management skills and / or substantial exposure to project-based work structuresExperience in analyzing new technologies and system enhancementsExperience with APIs, Web Services, REST, SOAP – is a plusScrum or other agile experience is a plusExperience with SQL, Python and other scripting languagesEOE STATEMENTWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
