Overview
Under the supervision of the Parts Sales & Procurement Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with Aftermarket parts by providing continued timely support while proactively selling our products and services.
Job Description
- Provide customer information as requested within a timely manner to support sales efforts (i.e., spare parts list, part availability, etc.)
- Primary point of contact in assisting Japanese/transplant customers
- Research and knowledge based activities to compile parts lists and quotes.
- Determines what is needed by the customer per the specifics provided on their machines with escalation and cross-functional engagement as applicable.
- Actively engaged with Engineering group for research and end of life component planning.
- Achieves an average customer quote time to plan based on department and/or location goals and expectations.
- Fields customer inquiries to process spare part lists, quotes, and returns via telephone and/or email.
- Fields requests for information on a variety of injection molding machines.
- Converts inquiries/quotes into Sales Orders as provided by Account Managers or Customers per the specifics provided on their machines with minimal errors.
- Actively supports and promotes spare part requirements for new and existing machines and projects
- Promote sales programs and products during daily communications with customers.
- Build customer interest in the products and services offered by the organization.
- Provide feedback from customers to facilitate improvement internally.
- Act as proactive consult for Aftersales solutions for spare parts and QA’s

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 to 5 years’ experience in a sales-oriented position
- Proficiency in computer software programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
- Bilingual English/Japanese, preferred
