We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Director / Manager to reinforce our Circular Carbon business line, focusing on developing and implementing carbon capture and gasification projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in business development within the energy or environmental sectors, particularly in carbon capture technologies. This role demands a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client and partner relationships, and drive the growth of our carbon capture project portfolio. Your key responsibilities : Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for carbon capture plants, focusing on key markets and potential clients. Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry associations. Collaborate closely with sales management and proposal teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new projects and partnerships. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential risks and opportunities in the carbon capture sector. Represent SFW at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our carbon capture solutions and expand our market presence. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, progress, and market intelligence. What we expect from you : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the energy, environmental, or related industries. Proven track record in developing and closing large-scale projects. In-depth understanding of carbon capture technologies, regulatory environments, and market dynamics is a strong asset. Fluency in English. Other languages are assets. Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
