Creates and maintains applicable Managed Care Contract Financial Databases. Develops and provides financial analysis to support the managed care negotiation and compliance initiatives.
1. Formal Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2. Experience & Training Required:
- 2-4 years of related accounting/finance/managed care
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Experience in current modeling, spreadsheet and presentation techniques and applications
- Strong analytical skills and abilities
- Ability to communicate and present financial and operational analysis concepts to management and staff
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand contract language, requirements, and responsibilities of all those a party to the contract
- Assumes personal accountability for the preparation and completion of projects and analysis
- Possesses experience with database and analysis functions
- Ability to organize multiple issues, keeps them updated, and communicates their requirements
- Possesses general working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Access
- Possesses basic knowledge of M.C. contracting processes, terminology and provisions
- Ability to understand healthcare/managed care issues/trends
- Ability to understand hospital operations as it relates to managed care.
- Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Salary : $28 - $42
