What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager – Office of the CNE position at Summa Health?
Leads and oversees projects that Summa Health is pursuing to improve operations or patient safety. Develops, coordinates, and programs the strategic focus areas and objectives of the office of the Sr. Vice President/Chief Nurse Executive Office. Provides input on strategic and program planning, program management, staff oversight, and appropriate reporting necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs to include but not limited to the activities of the Center for Clinical Inquiry. Monitors and tracks programmatic outcomes and goals. Assists in planning, implementation, and analysis of the Nursing Strategic Plan based on organizational strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelors of Science or Arts in related field
b. Masters in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration preferred.
2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Two (2) years’ experience in program/project management
b. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to build and lead project teams.
b. Successfully manage the technical aspect of office of the Chief Nurse Executive.
c. Possesses a strong business acumen with the aptitude to connect projects and organizational strategy.
d. Ability to manage budgets and resource allocation, develop Gantt charts and healthcare project scheduling models.
e. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products, highly proficient in use of Excel and Access database management.
4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
