What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Counselor position at Summer Camp at Christ Church?
Camp starts July 7 thru August 15 - 6weeks
Mandatory orientation June 30, July 1,2,3,
Mandatory clean up on August 16
Must be eighteen years of age

Must have 3 phone references ( not family or friends)
When references are checked, an interview will be scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
- Plan and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts for campers
- Teach and coach campers in various sports and recreational activities
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal and social development
- Assist with meal times, ensuring campers are following proper nutrition guidelines
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Collaborate with other camp staff to plan and coordinate daily schedules and special events
Experience:
- Some experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to manage a group of children and maintain a safe and structured environment
- Experience in sports coaching, tutoring, theater, or other relevant areas is a plus
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
