What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arts and Crafts Program Coordinator position at Summer Fenn Day Camp?
Summer Fenn is a high quality, all-gender day camp for children ages 5-15yrs old in beautiful, scenic Concord, MA.
We are seeking a seasoned, experienced and dynamic camp counselor or elementary school art teacher who loves working with kids to lead our sizeable Arts and Crafts program for 8 weeks this summer. We have two big, beautiful (air conditioned) classroom spaces and the Arts and Crafts program lead gets to choose their age-appropriate projects and materials.
Responsibilities include all areas of program management, including working closely with an assistant, guiding group counselor staff to support activities, designing and planning (in advance of the season) daily, age-appropriate projects, ordering and managing supplies, and maintaining the art studio and other Arts and Crafts spaces on our campus. The ideal candidate has strong skills in connecting with kids,is highly organized, will focus on the process of creativity building for children, brings interesting materials and a fresh approach to the program, and enjoys being part of the camp leadership team. Pay: $800.00 - $950.00 per week
Schedule:
