Key Accountability
Responsible for developing and executing all key activity strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve maximum resident participation.
Duties
- Improve the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales.
- Develop and promote a wide variety of internal and external activities to create opportunities for socialization of the residents.
- Escort residents as necessary on outings (may include driving community van or bus).
- Obtain necessary supplies and equipment for conducting activities while staying within budget.
- Develop monthly activities calendar.
- Develop monthly community newsletter.
- Train staff concerning new programs and activities, equipment, and materials.
- Gather feedback from residents concerning activities programs and adjust programs to best meet the resident’s needs.
- Ensures that activity/program calendars and events are posted and that the Culinary Director and/or Maintenance Director are notified of needed items for planned functions.
- Plan holiday and special events for the residents
Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years experience in sales. Preferably Assisted Living or Memory Care.
· Possess excellent communication skills, including phone, written and verbal skills.
· Competent in organizational and time management.
· Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to work well under stress, completing assignments accurately, working independently, and managing time effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
