Summary of Position:
The Accounting Associate is responsible for various accounting tasks, primarily focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable entries. Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sort and prepare documents for processing
- Reconcile summary paperwork to invoicing details
- Prepare complex invoices and monthly statements
- Scanning, mailing, emailing and filing invoice documents
- Work with multiple divisions to ensure accurate billing/receiving
- Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation
- Maintain and follow financial security by following internal accounting controls
- Miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- AS Degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years equivalent experience
- Excel understanding with the ability to adapt to various computer programs
- Excellent data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Organized and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
