Summary/Objective
The Federal Program Administrator fulfills the mission of Summit Academy Management (SAM) by managing Federal Programs for schools operated by SAM. The Federal Program Administrator will write the Ed Steps-Comprehensive Improvement Plan (CIP-One Plan/Funding Application) in conjunction with the school principal and curriculum team for each assigned school. He/she will oversee the implementation of the CIP-Federal Grants ensuring compliance with all requirements of the programs.
Essential Functions

- Write all elements of the Ed Steps-CIP grants, in collaboration with school leadership and the curriculum team
- Monitor all fiscal activity associated with each grant, including approving all federal expenditures and reconciling the final expenditure report
- Document compliance with all fiscal requirements of both the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the Individuals with Disability Education Act
- Complete online audits as required and provide site audit support as needed

Required Education and Experience
A minimum of 3 years of basic accounting experience
