Provide cheerful and efficient service and maintain a friendly, cheerful, and helpful attitude Actively participate in the specialized training during the general staff's training period Become thoroughly familiar with all the information relative to the challenge course Provide engaging challenge course facilitation Ensure proper use, security, and care of program equipment Assist with tasks to maintain the facilities of the overall challenge course program facilities Use all safety equipment mandated in your program venue effectively and properly Maintain a clean, organized inspected, neat, and safe work area Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training
18 years of age or older Preferred : ACCT Level 2 Certification and / or BSA C.O.P.E. Level 2 Instructor Certification Must be able to complete lead Facilitator Training (provided) Comfortable at heights of 6' to 180' Must meet the zip equipment manufacturer's requirement for participation, including weight requirements (between 50 and 250 pounds) Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results
Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants Contribute at least one improvement to the COPE and / or climbing programs Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant Physical Requirements
Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 65 lbs. Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform
