Preparing and providing services for events such as : meetings, banquets, weddings, concerts, etc. Reading and preparing banquet spaces to event specifications prepared by Event Specialist Setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, flatware, glassware, dinner and drink buffets Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner Collaborating with culinary team and other staff to ensure seamless event execution Maintain high level professionalism and customer service by anticipating guests' needs and responding promptly to requests Ensure cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events. Consistently adhere to dress code Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe working area Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook Qualifications & Training
18 years of age or older Required : Ability to stand for long times and lift / carry items such as linens, trash, and plates. Preferred : Experience in events, banquets, or food and beverage operations. Ability to show up on time and work entire shift. Strong time management and prioritization skills and ability to work independently. Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination Be or become a registered member of Scouting America Performance Results
Provide excellent customer service to our guests, creating repeat customers Adhere to the high customer service standards set forth by SBR daily. Physical Requirements
Up to 14 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements Uniform
