Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:
• 21 years of age or older
• Member of the Order of the Arrow
• Must have or be able to obtain Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR Certifications
• Preferred: Trail building experience
• Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
• Be or become a registered member of Scouting America
As a member of our Program Team, you'll receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. We're looking for individuals who share our passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our participants and are committed to delivering exceptional results.
**Responsibilities:**
• Lead groups of participants through the OASE program
• Support groups in the field when you are not assigned to a crew
• Instruct participants on proper and safe trail building
• Monitor the general health and safety of the participants
• Work with OASE and Summit leadership to address any issues that might arise
• Comfortable in remote setting for extended periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
• Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
• Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
