What are the responsibilities and job description for the RBT/Behavior Intervention Specialist position at Summit Behavior Support?
***$300 Sign on BONUS for Credentialed RBTs*** As an RBT/Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will implement a client's individualized program written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will help your client learn new skills in the areas of social, communication, and adaptive skills. Services may be implemented in clinic, home, school, or community settings.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct client care in one-on-one and group settings
- Following the behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition protocols
- Collecting and recording data based on client behavior
- Assisting behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition
- Assisting behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts in the preparation of client materials
RBT/Behavior Interventionist Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, run, jump, climb, and crawl
- Successful completion of 40-hour training within two weeks of employment
- Willingness to obtain RBT certification
- Ability to work with significant interfering/problem behavior
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and respond to corrective feedback
- Ability to work a consistent 2-3-hour time block Monday through Friday:
- Morning 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Evening 3:15 PM to 5:15 PM
RBT/Behavior Interventionist Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field
- Experience implementing ABA programs
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Open availability Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM
- Experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
Pay Rate Dependent on experience and education
RBT/Behavior Intervention Specialist: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
