This position directly impacts the effectiveness of each facility admissions department and the overall functioning of admission related activities within these teams. Provides leadership, guidance and supervision to facility admission directors. Works in tandem with facility admission directors in the following areas: monitoring administrative and admission related policies and procedures; ensuring overall efficient operations; assuring compliance with company quality standards; customer service; productivity standards and team performance; and staff development.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitors, directs and coaches regarding metric management and key performance indicators – ensuring expectations are achieved and performance improvement realized.
- Provides leadership, support and guidance to facility admission team management.
- Ensures compliance with company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high quality service and outstanding client care.
- Leads a team of highly engaged members thru hiring, orienting, performance assessment and management, motivating, training, scheduling, and coaching to meet department goals and ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Participates in the implementation of facility strategic plans, goals and objectives and ensures.
- Assists with staffing of the admissions department through the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions in collaboration with facility CEO, local/regional HR and Corporate DOA.
- Works in partnership with the Corporate DOA in the implementation of divisional and company initiatives and strategies.
- Ensures a strong and robust communications process between and within facility departments and the national admission center.
- Reviews analysis of performance and metrics, providing feedback and coaching around metric management.
- Directs and coordinates with facility admission directors to ensure optimal performance of operations to achieve or exceed budgets.
- Ensures efficient and effective decision-making relative to admissions, financials and denials & deferments.
- May perform on-site visits in order to observe facility admission process and further direct or coach to ensure performance standards are met and compliance adherence.
- Reports to and coordinates with the Corporate DOA regarding decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in behavioral health care.
- Minimum two years supervisory/management experience required.
- Experience in the alcohol and drug field or psychiatric treatment field highly preferred.
- Experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities.
- Independent clinical license preferred.
