SUMMIT Christian Academy is looking for a full-time Middle School Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. The qualified individual must be deeply committed to a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. He/she is expected to demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing his or her day-to-day duties. He/she must be devoted to prayerfully work with administration, faculty, students, and parents to develop and maintain a school that is thoroughly Christian and academically superb.

Professional Qualifications:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a focus in Math or Science preferred.
- Current State Teaching Certificate in Elementary and/or Secondary Education preferred.
- Willingness to pursue higher education and continue progress in career development.
- Strong background in math and science is highly desirable to foster a comprehensive and robust curriculum for students.
- Passion for teaching middle school-aged students and a deep understanding of their developmental needs.
Job Description:
- This position will focus solely on teaching 6th through 8th grade Math and Science.
- Teacher will provide classroom instruction with a warm and caring nature, while upholding high academic standards.
- Must have computer skills to employ computer programs to post grades and communicate with parents.
- Maintain clear, open, and professional communication with parents.
- Work with administration to keep parents adequately informed of student discipline.
- Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curriculums from a Biblical worldview.
- Ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on math and science education and a passion for working with middle school students to help cultivate student interest and achievement in these fields.
