JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Salesforce Director to lead our Salesforce initiatives and drive organizational success through innovation, optimization, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader who can design and execute a strategic Salesforce roadmap, enhance operational efficiency, and foster collaboration across teams to maximize the value of our Salesforce ecosystem.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive Salesforce strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging Salesforce to drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new Salesforce technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing Salesforce team, including administrators and developers
    • Empower team members to maximize their performance, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration to drive increased productivity and achieve business objectives.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Mentor team members to enhance their professional development and technical expertise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align Salesforce initiatives with business priorities.
    • Partner with sales, operations, training, and other departments to understand their needs and ensure effective solutions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related decisions and strategies.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions that address business challenges.
    • Ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
    • Partner with the Analytics Team to champion data-driven decision-making through robust reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Establish governance frameworks to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.
    • Monitor system performance, identify risks, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues.
    • Develop and enforce best practices for Salesforce usage across the organization.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of Salesforce initiatives.
    • Provide regular reporting to leadership on Salesforce performance and ROI.
    • Continuously assess and optimize Salesforce processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in Salesforce administration, development, or leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a strategic capacity.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Salesforce strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and integrations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with managing and leading people, including mentoring and coaching skills
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations effectively.
  • Knowledge of project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the full SDLC.
  • Business operations (e.g., invoicing, SOWs, margins, utilization).
  • Skilled at managing multiple complex projects at once.
  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
  • Possible travel, up to 10%.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods. Employee will occasionally be required to bend, kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, drive, twist, and reach above and below shoulders.

Work Environment:

Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office setting, work alone and with others. Office settings are mild to moderate temperatures.
