The Opportunity:
Summit Educational Group is seeking an organized, reliable, and relationship-driven leader to join our team as a Program Director. Program Directors play a key role in our organization, providing oversight to our portfolio of tutoring programs, managing our talented tutors, and establishing and building lasting client relationships. This position reports to the Director of One-on-One Tutoring and is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Newton, MA office.
Tasked with oversight of the tutoring programs, the Program Director will service the needs of a group of Summit’s clients, from initial contact through post-program follow up. Our clients come to us with high expectations for their experience, and we seek to exceed those expectations through timely follow-up, a friendly and professional demeanor, and expert knowledge of Summit and the test prep industry as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage in consultative sales, customizing Summit services to the needs of each family and recommending complementary services to the Summit client base.
· Manage the student-tutor relationship, including matching process and providing support, guidance, and advice to tutors.
· Engender trust and build rapport, working alongside families and tutors through regular phone and email check-ins to ensure student progress.
· Serve as case manager for each family that commits to working with Summit, providing thoughtful and proactive pre- through post-program service.
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions and tutor-client engagement in support of establishing and maintaining an awareness of the status of tutoring relationships.
· Develop intimate knowledge of the standardized testing industry and Summit’s tutoring programs.
· Assist in development of divisional strategic plan.

· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Experience in the test prep or academic tutoring fields strongly preferred.
Salary, Benefits, and Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based out of Summit’s office in Newton, MA.
