Transition Analyst

Summit is looking for a self-starting individual to join our firm as a Transition Analyst who will have accountability for the overall transitioning of acquiring firms’ accounts and agreements. You will actively collaborate with financial advisors and their staff in collecting and organizing data from various sources to complete the client and advisor onboarding process. Extensive communication with advisors, their teams and Summit’s internal teams while maintaining transparency is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Advisor team, their staff and internal team on collecting client data from various sources into a templated format for account opening.
· Complete the opening of new accounts accurately and efficiently to build confidence and trust through the transition process.
· Review all incoming work for quality, completeness and accuracy.
· Ability to manage multiple platforms including DocuSign.
· The ability to understand and process all functions during the life cycle of account opening to ensure all is in good order.
· Assist Advisor and team with technical issues involving accounts.
· Serve as liaison for Advisor and team with all custodians including Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs and Pershing.
· Supports tasks related to advisor onboarding and internal transition.
· Ability to problem solve various account issues during the transition process.
· Research of account inquires/issues for Advisor and team.
· Produce reports through custodians’ platforms and Docusign when requested.
· Coordinate with the Transition team providing daily operational assistance.
· Maintain Summit’s internal workflow system to manage daily work
· Adhere to managerial requests when called upon.
· Participate in special projects and cross-train on other departmental functions.
· Act as backup to support team members away from the office.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Needed:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, data analytics, or a relevant field preferred.
· Requires a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience. Wealth Management or Financial Services background is helpful but not required.
· Experience with Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, Pershing and Docusign preferred.
· Expert Excel experience.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Client experience – Ability to consult internal and external clients; Strong client-first mentality.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
· Verbal and written communication skills.
· Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities – Ability to think unconventionally in proposing potential solutions to issues.

· Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
