Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the company’s insurance programs.
- Develop and implement insurance department policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers to identify suitable coverage options.
- Analyze organizational risks and design tailored insurance policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve insurance-related matters.
- Maintain records of insurance policies and claims.
- Oversee the review and processing of insurance claims.
- Analyze and report on insurance claims to identify trends and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
- Manage proof of insurance documentation for new and existing customers.
- Oversee asset repossession and recovery processes.
- Prepare and negotiate Master Agreements (MAs) with prospective clients.
- Enhance contract policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of all licenses and compliance activities.
- Ensure all necessary licenses are up-to-date and renewed on time.
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas of risk and potential non-compliance.
- Stay current with regulatory changes at all levels that affect business licensing.
Qualifications/Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Preferred: Experience with insurance brokerage and complex property and casualty insurance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and decision-making skills.
- Legal and ethical integrity.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
- Leadership capabilities to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least five years of office management experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Suite preferred.
