The Role at a Glance:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Food Service Director to oversee culinary, safety, and sanitation functions for our corrections team in Blackfoot, ID.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and retain a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
• Ensure high-quality food and friendly service are delivered consistently.
• Lead the operation with professionalism, efficiency, and profitability in mind.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.

Requirements:

Must-haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in a supervisory role.
• At least two years of foodservice experience.
• A proven track record of financial responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• ServSafe Manager certification.
• Associates degree or Bachelor's degree.

Compensation:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
