What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funding Specialist position at Summit Funding Group?
Summit Funding Group, Inc. is an established and growing equipment leasing company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Financial Bank located in Mason, OH. Summit is expanding our Lender Documentation Department and a full-time Funding Specialist. The Funding Specialist will provide support to complete the processing of the documentation for lenders associated with transaction initiated by the Vendor Finance, Middle Market, and Syndication divisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Process documentation required to complete Debt or Purchase Fundings
- Process all documentation required for Vendor Finance Program Management
- Documentation Review of Lessee/Lessor documents
- Review and process Loan documents
- Prepare Assignment and Loan documents
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external partners
- Ability to update spreadsheets
- Ability to review Equity deals when necessary
- Ability to prioritize individual workload
Qualifications:
- 1 years of leasing, mortgage industry, or commercial loan experience
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong Customer-service skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- The ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe PDF
- Understanding of financial calculations – desired not required
