Job Description
If you are looking for a collaborative, dynamic, physician-led practice environment where you can learn, grow, and excel in providing integrated, multidisciplinary, patient centered care, then Summit Health is the place to be! We are seeking alicensed Advanced Practice Nurse specialized in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with 1 year of Hospital Medicine experience to work collaboratively with our Hospitalist Team
Requirements include :
1-year experience required; 2-4 years preferred
Advanced Practice Nurse License
BLS Certification
Responsibilities include
Examining patients admitted to the ED
Coordinating all tests, examinations and treatments
Interacting with primary care physician to develop treatment plans
Maintaining hospital records and medications
Arranging follow up care for patients once they leave the hospital
Prescribing medications
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients and family members.
