Duties
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with governmental and public accounting tasks as required.
- Analyze financial reports and data to identify discrepancies or trends.
- Maintain accurate records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
- Conduct data entry for financial transactions and ensure timely updates.
- Support medical collection efforts by managing accounts receivable.
- Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions, including invoicing and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations in all accounting practices.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in governmental accounting or public accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements is a plus.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
