Primarily be responsible for operating construction equipment to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes, backfill, and load materials in a variety of heavy construction operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate a track hoe to excavate trenches, pull trench boxes and grade in heavy construction operations.
- Maintain tools and equipment so that they are kept in good working order and are safe for use.
- Perform daily routine maintenance on the machine including lubrication and monitor needed repairs/service requirements.
- Operate other construction equipment as required.
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment you operate.
- Experience in running heavy equipment preferred.
- Pay depends on experience.
