Summit Pet Care in Lees Summit, MO is looking for one doggy daycare supervisor to join our 42 person strong team. We are located on 810 NW Commerce Dr. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Overview of Position:
Must LOVE dogs! Must LOVE people! Reliable, energetic and customer oriented individual. Provide supervision to doggy daycare counselors.
Job Description
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITES
Daycare Attendant
· Maintain control of a large group of open play dogs
· Continuously walk the play area to reward positive behaviors and re-direct escalated play
· Address behavioral issues immediately without the use of force or physical punishment
· Engage in stimulating, fun, educational activities and games with the dogs
Cleaning Duties
· Keep playroom clean of messes at all times
· Follow proper cleaning procedures and use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for both dogs and people
Supervisor:
· Meet or exceed the expectations of the doggy daycare counselor role
· Responsible for working collaboratively with management team to ensure the success of the daycare team
· Foster team – oriented attitude
· Provide leadership to our daycare counselors; ensure safe and clean environment for our pups and employees
· Ensure daycare counselors are following SPC policies and standards
· Provide positive or constructive feedback to employees
· Provide input to the management team for gaps in performance expectations
· Foster a culture that empowers daycare counselors to develop ownership to our doggy daycare vision, “every dog has the best day ever during their visit”.
Job Requirements

Must LOVE dogs
· Required minimum one year supervisor experience
· Required minimum one year experience with dogs
· Punctual and professional at all times
