Calling all dog lovers
Summit Pet Care in Lees Summit, MO is looking for one kennel attendant to join our 33-person strong team. We are located at 810 NW Commerce Dr. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.
We are looking for an AM Kennel attendant to work Monday through Friday and some weekends. The hours generally run from 6 am to 9 am, depending on the number of boarders we have.
Pet Care
- Responsible for the care of pets in the kennel area
- Feed and medicate according to pet owner's direction
- Play, walk, and facilitate exercise
- Responsible for closely monitoring pet care
- Record vital information
- Observe pet behavior, habits and environmental conditions according to pet care guidelines
Cleaning Duties
- Keep kennels and cages cleaned, sanitized and maintained to facility standards
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for both dogs and humans
Teamwork and Initiatives
- Ability to work with all team members in a respectful and professional manner
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
Job Requirements
- Stand on your feet during shift
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs
- Punctual and Professional at all times
