Summary
*Responsible for performing dimensional layouts.
*Assists the Quality Assurance Analyst to perform process capability studies and for receiving inspections
*Assists in the development of measures and processes for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to the product, process and quality system.
*Identify and record problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
*Assists the Quality Assurance Analyst in proper care and handling of company, vendor or customer owned equipment gage, tooling, and other items assigned.
*Assists the Quality Assurance Analyst in maintaining the production parts approval process (PPAP) documentation.
*Assists the Quality Assurance Analyst in maintaining the calibration programs.
*To perform other activities as assigned
*Assists the Quality Assurance Analyst in providing training for the Quality Control Inspectors.
*May perform Quality Control Inspector activities as necessary.
*EDM/CNC programming experience
