SUMMARY
Plan, organize, coordinate, manage activities to ensure effective and efficient processing, shipping storage, and issuance of materials throughout the manufacturing organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plan and manage the physical consolidation floor to support shift activity and meet weekly revenue requirements.
- Manage the inventory positions of all products and coordinate with all areas necessary to insure that adequate stock levels are maintained.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pull orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment verifying and entering receipt of incoming shipments.
- Responsible for warehouse maintenance.
- Determine project material requirements, current inventory status of parts, request material, and monitor the status of materials by maintaining logs for raw material and finished products.
- Responsible for the first-stage of receiving inspection.
- Responsible for dock audits to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Responsible to perform physical inventories weekly.
- Fold boxes for shrink-wrapping.
- Assist the plant manager to schedule, prioritize and control production.
- Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
- Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify management or contact outside service faculty for repair.
- Prepare and verify shipments against shipping plan.
- Verify, keep records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
- Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of solutions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate department personnel to fulfill all contract requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an appropriate level of related experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Good math, language, reading skills.
- Must possess valid forklift operator’s license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Good motor skills.
- Normal hearing range.
- Good physical condition.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
