Job Summary
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product. Perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process which include identifying parts, assembling parts, processing appropriate paperwork, maintaining serial numbers and production logs, and modifying parts.
Essential Functions Performed
·Perform quality checks on parts and products.
·Review work orders to ensure assembly work is performed according to specifications.
·Determine work assignments and procedures.
·Train new employees on job procedures
·Operate forklifts and jib cranes; use hand tools and machines to assemble parts.
·Maintain clean working area.
·Complete inspection forms
·Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
·One year of experience related to assembly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
·Production & Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
·Mechanical – Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs, and maintenance.
·English Language – Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
·Design – Knowledge of design technique tools, and principles involved in production of plans and models.
·Reading Comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
·Time Management – Managing one’s own time and the time of others.
·Active listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Pay: $18.69 - $26.68 per hour
