What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser - Private Brands position at Summit Racing Equipment?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
- Manage and maintain a minimum of 80 vendor lines
- Build strong communication and professional relationships with assigned vendors
- Work with QA to address quality and poorly rated customer reviews
- Work with Catalog and TDM to maintain up-to-date product information and images
- Source products that will increase our PB sales and Profit Margin
- Review price increases and enforce our 90-day price increase notice policy
- Make product picks for printed and internet advertisements
- Identify and recommend products and vendors that should be dropped
- Attend trade shows and events when needed
- Learn and use segment Classification Admin Tool for new products
- Assign new product attributes in the Grid for assigned vendors
