Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is a rapidly growing construction company with a focus on exterior envelope rehabilitation projects. Our company is a leader in apartment and condominium rehabilitation, with many of the largest management companies in the Portland / Vancouver area.
We are currently hiring for a Restoration Carpenter for finish carpentry and restoration work within the Portland Metro / Vancouver area. Full Time 40 hours per week. Competitive pay starting at $24-$28 per hour DOE!
- THIS IS FOR A DIRECT HIRE POSITION. NO SUB CONTRACTORS!
Restoration Carpenter Responsibilities :
Perform a variety of carpentry work which could include framing, siding & trim installation, window installation, decks, detailed flashing, dry rot, rain screens, subfloor and cabinet rebuilds.Accurately read & interpret plan specifications; ensure proper selection and installation of materials.An eye for detail and can produce professional quality results while working in a fast- paced environment.Responsible for making sound decisions; ability to work independently and as a team.Ability to effectively communicate with clients / customers & coworkers; cooperative and team-oriented individual.Be able to follow detailed instructions and run an assigned team when needed.Be positive, upbeat, and honest.Great customer service skills.Preference to candidates with drywall experience.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a finish carpenter.Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain damaged structures using carpentry skills.Be willing and able to have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in and around Portland / Vancouver area. Must have your own basic tools.Capable of working effectively amongst diverse teams and manage multiple tasks at once.Must have working knowledge of building codes & standards.Hardworking, motivated, and safety conscious!Pictures of projects previously done are a plus!Additional Company Details & Information :
