OPERATIONS SPECIALIST JOB DESCRIPTION :
Operations Specialist will report to the Manager-in-Charge and will perform a variety of tasks related to all aspects of distribution and day-to-day operations.
Operations Specialists will be responsible for :
Customer order fulfillment (picking, packing, shipping)
Using equipment to locate, track, and verify products for distribution.
Supporting daily warehouse functions
Performing routine housekeeping and inventory control tasks
Daily environmental temperature monitoring tracking
Receiving and processing incoming shipments from vendors
Following SOP’s to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agencies
EPCIS and shipping data transmission to authorized trading partners
Management and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments
Projects and / or other duties as assigned
In this role, he / she will have privileges to :
Access areas where prescription drugs and devices are held
Access essential business and inventory records as it relates to job function
Access environmental monitoring platform
Pick, pack, and ship product
REQUIREMENTS :
All Operations Specialists must meet the following minimum requirements :
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Bachelor's degree preferred
Basic Computer Competency
Basic Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Warehouse experience preferred
Must complete a drug screen with a negative result prior to handling prescription drug and devices
Must complete and pass a background check prior to start date
Ability to adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be able to stand for entire shift if needed, use hands and fingers or feel and reach with hands and arms
Employees are regularly required to sit, talk, and hear
Language Skills : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic communications as they relate to business operations.
Mathematical skills : Ability to solve simple math problems and analyze numbers as they relate to necessary job functions.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands or fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
