As Senior Legal Counsel , you will be a strategic advisor, leveraging your deep expertise in financial services law to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, structure sophisticated trading agreements, and mitigate risk across our operations. You will play a critical role in shaping legal strategy, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and enabling business growth through proactive legal guidance. Your ability to work cross-functionally and provide high-level counsel will make you an indispensable leader within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Legal Advisory : Act as a senior legal advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, trading operations, and corporate governance matters.
- Contract Negotiation & Structuring : Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of high-value trading, brokerage, and commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory frameworks.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management : Provide sophisticated regulatory analysis and risk assessments, staying ahead of developments from the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and other relevant bodies to ensure full compliance.
- Dispute Resolution & Enforcement : Advise on regulatory investigations, enforcement actions, and litigation matters, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with key stakeholders across business development, trading, compliance, HR, and operations to facilitate seamless legal and regulatory integration into business strategy.

In compliance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $180,000 to $250,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
