Civil Construction Field Foreman

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring a Civil Construction Field Foreman for projects in and around Rifle, CO.

Civil Construction Field Foreman Duties

• Oversee and manage in field duties of assigned civil construction projects
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Work with Project Managers to complete projects on time and within budget
• Monitor and manage progress and quality of work on-site
• Ensure crew is informed and follows all safety measures
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Operate equipment when needed
• Effectively read plans, utilize GPS systems and verify grades

Civil Construction Field Foreman Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Construction Field Foreman or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
• Strong leadership, management and planning skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in using Heavy Job to ensure daily time, notes, photos and quantities are correct and accurate
• Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
• Ability to effectively communicate with Project Managers, employees and customers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Civil Construction Field Foreman Compensation/Benefits

• $35-$45/hr BOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
