We are seeking a hardworking Laborer to join our team and assist with hydroseeding and erosion control projects. This role involves operating equipment, applying hydroseed mixtures, installing erosion control materials, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. This position requires traveling and staying in a hotel throughout the week. You will be home most weekends and work Mon-Fri. All travel expenses are paid for and you will receive $45 per diem / day for food. Some work may be local.
Responsibilities
- Assist in hydroseeding operations, including mixing and spraying seed, mulch, and fertilizer.
- Install erosion control materials such as straw blankets, silt fences, and wattles.
- Operate and maintain hydroseeding equipment and tools.
- Load and unload materials at job sites.
- Work safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
- Follow project guidelines to ensure proper soil stabilization and vegetation growth.
- Collaborate with team members and follow supervisor instructions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hydroseeding, landscaping, construction, or erosion control (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- OSHA 10 is required.
- Pass a drug screen

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
