Our client, a long-standing and well-established Hedge Fund based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join its technology team. The firm relies on a strong IT infrastructure to support its operations and is looking for a skilled professional to provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and assist with various IT initiatives.
Position Overview
The Desktop Support Analyst will assist with technology support operations across the firm. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing workstation setups, light systems administration, and assisting with IT security initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for a wide variety of technology related issues
- Set up and deploy workstations, including software installations and updates for users at all levels of the firm
- Troubleshoot / resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT support requests and resolutions
- Assist the firms' users and executives with video conferencing setup and troubleshooting
- Provide support for IT security initiatives, including mobile device management and emerging technologies
- Participate in IT projects and contribute towards technology improvements across the firms' landscape
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or a related field) is strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of issues
- Experience supporting users in Windows and Mac based environments is ideal
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Windows Server environments, and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Apple products is highly preferred, including supporting iPhones, MacBooks, and Mac OSX, etc.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
