Food Service Manager

Job Summary:

A Food Service Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the stores deli, direct supervisor of deli staff, ensuring a high level of sanitation, store appearance and customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Store and Deli opening and closing when needed
• Must have Serve Safe Certification
• Complete monthly inventory at the end of the month
• Train, motivate and discipline deli staff using company guidelines
• Audit all deli staff for accuracy
• Complete food service schedules two weeks in advance at all times
• Check in deliveries with invoice to ensure accurate delivery
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation
• Order and receive merchandise utilizing inventory ordering guidelines
• Implement all company promotional initiatives
• Ensure a qualify buying experience for all customers
• Maintain image standards set forth and image surveys
• Report and review all safety issues with operations manager
• Safely operate a deep fryer, pizza oven, sharp knives and other culinary tools as needed
• Attend mandatory meetings
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
• Other duties assigned by food service area sales manager

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
• Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1-15 lbs
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
• Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
• Be able to freely access all areas of the store
• Move quickly around the store

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,600.00 per year
