Job Description
As an Associate Broadcast Engineer with Summit Technology Group, you will assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of broadcast facilities, including RF transmission systems, AoIP networking, and IT infrastructure. You will interact directly with clients, ensuring high-quality service and technical solutions. Your role will involve both in-office and fieldwork, with significant travel to client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AM/FM broadcast facilities, including RF transmission systems, remote control systems, broadcast studios, and related infrastructure.
• Work with Audio-over-IP (AoIP) systems, including Axia and Wheatstone.
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of IT networks and Cisco-based infrastructure.
• Design and document broadcast system layouts using Visio and SmartDraw documentation tools.
• Participate in client meetings to assess needs and provide technical solutions.
• Provide remote and on-site support for system installations and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system integration projects.
• Work as part of a team by seeking support when needed and providing support to team members.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices through continuing education and participation in company-wide training.
• Travel via air and company truck for on-site engagements.
