Outdoor Landscape Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a keen eye for detail. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that properties are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Perform irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Maintain landscapes by mowing, trimming, and edging lawns as needed.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, ensuring proper depth and spacing.
• Conduct tree trimming to promote healthy growth and maintain appearance.
• Engage in groundskeeping activities, including cleaning up debris and maintaining pathways.
• Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various landscaping tasks.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as cutting, trimming, or digging.

Skills

• Knowledge of irrigation systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience in lawn care techniques, including mowing and fertilization.
• Ability to dig effectively using hand tools while maintaining safety standards.
• Proficient in tree trimming methods to ensure plant health and safety.
• Strong groundskeeping skills with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor spaces.
• Competence in using hand tools safely and effectively for landscaping tasks.
• Experience with power tools is preferred; must adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.52 - $18.56 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
