We have an exciting opportunity open for a Contract Services Analyst based in Little Rock, AR.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead Gas Operations effort to gather and report benchmarking data for the distribution organization, review and recommend business practices to improve performance, support business planning Gas Operations and develop and report key performance indicators (KPI’s). Communicate directly with management of Gas Operations to coordinate business activities. Provide support for Procurement Department related to Contractor activities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate business planning efforts with all Gas Operations groups, including the selection, preparation, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Lead the benchmarking efforts to gather relevant benchmarking data, reporting of results and action plan development.
- Review and monitor Gas distribution industry and evaluate impact of internal and external factors.
- Use analytical and spreadsheet skills to support benchmarking efforts, cost comparisons, and productivity analysis
- Demonstrate respect for all individuals and adheres to the Company’s values and business practices.
- Provide regulatory support for rate case activities, such as research for rate case testimony and responding to RFI questions, and for the review of legislative bills.
- Provide support to other departments to facilitate the execution of Contractor Contracts and Construction Inspection.
- Work independently to pro-actively solicit information from appropriate subject matter experts
- Work with leaders, functional teams, and system integration partners to design and deliver functional training plans that support project overall scope and objectives
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
Experience: Requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in areas that involve the establishment of metrics, resource planning, budgeting, or work that involves interface with a variety of departments in the distribution organization, or work in the distribution organization.

- The position requires travel to interact with other Regions and develop KPI information. Might also include Operations or Regulatory related travel.
