In the Bozeman and surrounding areas. PAY RATES : $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending upon experience. Training is provided, no experience required for the right person. REQUIREMENTS : Be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Locate Technicians mark utility lines prior to any dig work. We are seeking candidates with great communication, the ability to work independently, and who love working outdoors. This role requires daily contact with utility managers and crews, homeowners, and contractors discussing locate issues. Oral and written communication skills and being a great team player are necessary. Candidates need to be efficient and organize their workload. The ability to read utility maps and work in all-weather scenarios and field conditions is a must. Technicians rotate on call and therefore will participate in occasionally working evenings, nights, and weekends. Candidates must have good problem-solving skills and be capable of working with minimal supervision, with the ability to lift to 30 pounds and walk up to five miles per day. Knowledge of underground utility construction preferred but not required. We provide training to all new hires regardless of prior experience.
