Location: Larimer County, CO
Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week, in-person.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting operations, compliance, and internal controls. Manage the daily activities of staff, reviewing their work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Keep current with applicable industry standards and regulations.
Objectives of the Role:
- Oversee Financial Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance & Strengthen Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and oversee financial policies and procedures that comply with GAAP, grant requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate Audits & Tax Filings: Assist in annual audit processes and ensure timely and accurate tax filings by working with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Develop & Enforce Financial Policies: Establish best practices in financial management to promote efficiency, accountability, and compliance.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with operational strategies and organizational needs.
- Lead & Develop Accounting Team: Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented work environment.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- More than five years of experience in accounting.
- At least one year of experience in accounting management.
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts & graphs).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- CPA preferred.
- Experience in Non-Profit, Behavioral Health, or Healthcare settings.
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.

Total Rewards
The typical hiring range for this position is $83,269 to $99,916 annually, based on relevant years of experience.
